Ministerial Decision No. 43 of 2016
Issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Commerce and industry with the aim of regulating the import of some industrial goods to the Egyptian market.

Importers are obliged to have the factories producing these goods registered with the General Authority for export and import control (GOEIC).
Objective: to ensure the quality of imported products, combat commercial fraud, and protect the Egyptian consumer.
Ministerial Decision No. 44 of 2019
It came as a supplement and amendment to the previous resolution.

He added items to facilitate registration, clarify the procedures for accreditation and refusal.
The resolutions stressed the need to provide quality certificates (ISO), and notarize documents from Chambers of Commerce or any government entity approved by the Egyptian embassies in the country of origin until they were notarized by the Egyptian embassy in the country.
